We believe our clients should are able to tailor their
own maintenance requirements, this is why we offer a
bespoke service.
We undertake planned maintenance to all types/makes of
equipment and specific and generic method statements and
risk assessments are issued for all.
Maintenance is generally in accordance with makers
schedules and will include all lubricants; a full safety
assessment will be undertaken at the first visit. We also
provide an all-inclusive maintenance/callout contract that
includes all planned and reactive maintenance.
We can offer a package of maintenance and repair
services that ensures the security and safety of
equipment. This includes upgrades, overhauls and
refurbishment of plant to as new standard, replacement of
obsolete and irreparable items, and the incorporation of
the latest safety devices into existing equipment.
Examples of our Clients requirements are:-
Level 1. Annual service to equipment. As a
consideration of service, breakdown cover (P3) is within 7
days of callout.
Level 2. 6 monthly service to equipment (Breakdown cover
is P2)
Level 3. 4 monthly service to equipment (Breakdown cover
is P2)
Level 4. 3 monthly (quarterly) service to equipment
(Breakdown cover is P2)
Breakdown
cover will be at fixed rates that are dependant on service

Priority 1 (P1) – within 4 hours
Priority 2 (P2) – within 24 hours
Priority 3 (P3) – within 7 days
Priority 1 (P1) is for clients with very high security
needs and all our Field Service Engineers have full
security clearance. (References can be given)

service provider for Secure Installations, Police
Authorities and Defence Establishments.
GBS is able to offer a barrier replacement service.
Where old or obsolete equipment has to be removed, we can
now offer the DAAB barrier range for gaps up to 6.0
metres.
These barriers are, one of the few electro-mechanical
barriers with all stainless steel pedestal and casing for
robust, corrosion free life. They incorporate built-in
safety features; have the capability of interfacing to
most peripheral devices without modification, and are
extremely competitive in price.

Gate & Barrier also offers replacement drives to existing
gates; automation of manual gates, both vehicle and
pedestrian.
Sourced from a number of manufacturers, these, together
with our logic controller range, provide the cost
effective solution for upgrading to power operation.
We offer turnstile installation or replacement and use
the Heda and Automatic Systems ranges of equipment. These
turnstiles have stainless steel rotor vanes for robust,
corrosion free life. The Heda turnstile has the advantage
of power assisted rotation. The Automatic Systems
turnstile is for those that require a manual rotation
turnstile. Both incorporate built-in safety features and
have the capability of interfacing to most access systems
and are extremely competitive in price.
Gate & Barrier Services has installed folding doors to
a number of Police Authorities fast response locations.
They open extremely quickly and safely. The doors, again,
are made from robust corrosion free materials, can
incorporate many colour requirements and can be designed
to integrate into any building seamlessly.
